TRAINING SUMMARY:
The Democratic African-American Women’s Caucus is bringing more than just candidate and campaign training to participants. In addition to offering candidates, campaign staff and current elected officials an opportunity to learn the art and science of campaign strategy from some of the most successful consultants in their respective fields, the 2015 training will also provide an opportunity for young, aspiring Democratic Leaders to participate in leadership and professional development courses. After the training, participants will be able to listen to Nina Turner, Lena Taylor, Willie Gary, and other leaders at our evening dinner.
CURRICULUM:
The curriculum will tackle four primary themes: campaign planning, field and grassroots, fundraising and budgeting and leadership development. Sessions will address the unique challenges faced by candidates and leaders. The curriculum will include:

- Tools for building a personal brand – keys to reaching personal, professional and political goals
